Science vs. Indigenous Knowledge

In this clip from a debate at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, the speaker asserts that science must be done away with as it is a product of Western Colonialism imposed on African People.

But is science really part of, or oppressive towards, particular cultures? It seems a strange idea that science can be imposed on anyone, and a peculiar form of relativism that indigenous knowledge is true simply because of its cultural connotations.
